Cooper Mountain Vineyards, "Mountain Terroir" Pinot Noir 2016

Pinot Noir|Willamette Valley

From the slopes of the eponymous Cooper Mountain, father-and-daughter team Bob and Barbara Gross farm 100% biodynamically (organic taken way further) – from herbal soil preparations, dry farming to carbon mitigation, the vineyard work is in tune with the environment and nothing artificial or chemical enters the picture.

This is their "Mountain Terroir" series, picked from the finest slopes and the oldest vines on the property. A shimmering, vibrant ruby color in the glass. The palate is suave and silky, with wild red fruits, crushed red flowers, along with a savory edge and soft, beautiful tannins that caress.

A super limited, timeless cuvée that will absolutely continue to evolve in bottle or bring immediate pleasure. Decant for at least an hour and enjoy as you would a fine Burgundy Pinot.
