Bethel Heights Estate Chardonnay 2014
Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley
From the renowned Eola-Amity Hills subregion in Willamette Valley, Bethel Heights has been making elegant, responsibly-made wines since 1977, making it one of the pioneering estates in Oregon. They're solar powered, certified Salmon Safe, and the founders of the Willamette Valley Oak Accord, a partnership devoted to preserving natural oak habitat and biodiversity, protecting against farmland monocultural sprawl.
At a perfectly aged seven years of maturity, this bottling is right in its "sweet spot" – salty lemon peel, grapefruit zest, and brioche with a satisfyingly rich finish and the right amount of weight.
We have but a few bottles of this gem of a library release, direct from the winery.
